HAZEL & OLIVE 4th of JULY LAUNCH
Happyyyyyyy weekend! & happy cookout, lake going, firework popping summer season! Hazel & Olive launched the cutest Fourth of July launch (shop it here!) a couple of weeks ago, and asked me to help launch their red white and blue line. I got to pick out a few pieces and wanted to compile my favs from the line + a few other things I’m obsessed with for the summer season off their site! From the launch, I got to style their Take Me to the Beach Skirt, a White dress, and the Valley Falls Knit Top. This weekend I wore all three pieces throughout exploring Hot Springs, AR, lake tripping on Lake Hamilton, and surprising my dad for Father’s Day back home in Springdale, AR. Use code “BLOGGIEMAGGIE” & shop these pieces + soooo much more on their website— the cutest things this summer!
This weekend, on our way to Lake Hamilton, we stopped for a quick detour in Downtown Hot Springs. I had never been and it was so fun to see the historic bath house row and the hotel Al Capone had stayed at. I wore my white dress from H&O’s Fourth of July launch, but made it more of a summery look with my white whimsical printed Dooney & Bourkes backpack and platform high top converse with beads on the laces. Shop my fit here!
We then headed to Lake Hamilton for another Saturday spent at the lake, which meant another stop at the Sunset Cove Marina rainbow dock & had to have a pic. We swam and drank and ate at Sam’s at the end of the day. I wore my Target neon green bikini (tied upside down criss cross ways), the Hazel & Olive crochet cover up skirt, and sweater tank wrapped over the top + neon Target flip flops. I also had my Walmart $6 sunnies and Aviator Nation hat (that always winds up on Tom instead of me haha).
Sunday morning, I woke up to drive home and surprise my dad for Father’s Day. I originally wasn’t planning on coming home because I’m making the trip the following weekend, but ended up making it a surprise and he loved it! He had no idea. We ran some errands, got ice cream, and ate Shrimp Etoufe before I headed back for work in the morning. Had to give the Valley Falls Knit top another go, plus here’s the rest of the fit here!
