FORMAL SZN
Whether for a semi formal functions or out for the holidays— formal season is h*e*r*e & in full swing.
Pictured are a couple of dresses I’ve worn to functions this past fall/winter. While I sometimes struggle finding a way to rewear an outfit, I cannot wait to rewear the Free People navy sequin slip dress. I think it is perfect for the holidays and will be great layered with a sweater and high boots for a less-dressy event. The navy sequin slip dress is the most pricey of all, but I plan to rewear and get my moneys worth.
The other two dresses I found at a steal. The lilac dress is also Free People, but I found at a great price of $50 in the summer during a one day sale— make sure you are a Free People App member to get sale notifs ;). AND- the ice blue dress. Ah, this dress. This By The Way dress I found while scrolling through the beautiful and expensive dresses at Revolve but saw that By The Way offers a wayyy better deal for dresses to be worn for maybe one or two occasions. I went a little out of my comfort zone with the deep v, but I’m glad I tried something new. The dress has a strappy back & a skater skirt- plus the color is so so good.
The heels are Steve Madden - a bit taller than my usual heel - borrowed from my sweetie roommate. The rhinestoned straps and nude suede are the perfect addition to any dress.
And earrings!! Probably my most proud find of this whole blog post are these $6 dark rhinestoned cross earrings from Target. I love that they are studs, but also the dark, gothic accent to the look.
