UNKNOWN BEAUTY PROJECT
A few weeks ago I participated in the Unknown Beauty Project with photographer Amore Bello. I've done a shoot in the past with Kasey from Amore Bello, and loved how her pics turned out. She's super talented with her lighting and her posing, to end up with an assortment of magazine-like photos. With that being said, Amore Bello started this project to inspire a movement of knowing your beauty with out full makeup and editing. They took the idea from photographer Peter Lindbergh, who shoots in full black and white with no extensive editing or removing of anything. His subjects have ranged from famous to normal people like you and me, and his work is phenomenal. Amore Bello had me fill out an interview to go along with my portraits, here is the link to my questionnaire. The question that stood out to me the most was about what you define as beauty. I truly find beauty in others or myself by inner confidence. Think about it; you can tell a persons confidence when they walk through the door. That confidence draws you, like an unknown beauty. I aspire to be more confident in everything I do, whether it be wear little to no makeup out and about, to social scenes, to school, and with that I find the Unknown Beauty Project a success in itself. I encourage locals to take part in this, shoot Kasey an email amorebellophotography@gmail.com!
