NWA MURALS

NWA MURALS

HI! As anyone who has followed me for any amount of time could have caught on, I like murals! I very much love color on my feed and I think I’ve about used every single mural in Northwest Arkansas over the past few years since starting my blogging journey in 2016. From Bentonville to downtown Springdale and Fayetteville, I have gathered quite a collection and I want to share it with whoever might also want to go on their own photoshoots in the area. I especially wanted to get this out before the Fourth of July tomorrow because of the few patriotic murals of red white and blue in case any of you wanted to post up in their red, white, and blue. This guide is simple! Just click on the “button” that is titled either the business containing the mural or a short description, read my little excerpt on the whereabouts, and you can glance at my attached pics I’ve posted in the past at that spot! As always, if you have any questions just send me a DM :)

BENTONVILLE MURALS:::

One of my oldest murals is this comic book-ish mural right off the of the Bentonville square. It had mainly color, but also the darker wall of a skull with red hair.

The Bentonville jackpot of murals, including the fun Emperor’s New Groove looking guys, the tall pastel wavy lines with bicycle, tiger, solid different color wall, and MORE are all located in the parking lot behind the the Hub Bike Lounge in Bentonville on Eighth St.

SPRINGDALE MURALS:

Another Downtown Springdale fav is this fun and funky mural all over the Springdale Skate Shop on Emma Ave. A newer addition, as I first found this one last summer.

Another Downtown Springdale piece is the back of the Arts Center of the Ozarks has a large red wall with a multi color star. And, on one corner of the building there is a blue and pink circular mural that’s really cute, too.

Another perfect Fourth of July or Memorial Day spot is the floor to ceiling American Flag mural in Downtown Springdale.

Rainbow Cleaners is a little off of Thompson on your way to Downtown Springdale. It’s an actual laundromat with a tan wall and a metal rainbow arch.

FAYETTEVILLE MURALS:::

Andy’s Smoke Shop on College Ave in Fayetteville has three separate murals on its side. I’ve used this rainbow dashed one a few years ago and need to come back to use the others.

This very fitting DECAF?! mural is behind the Fayetteville Onyx Coffee Lab location.

This pink door and pink brick building is also right by Brainstorm Tattoo on College Ave in Fayetteville.

This butterfly wing mural is right by the MLK Waffle House in Fayetteville.

On Dickson in Fayetteville, there’s the classic U.S. Pizza mural with Rosie the Riveter but also red and white stripes and a navy wall with white stars— perfect for Memorial Day Weekend and Fourth of July posts. Across the street from the U.S. Pizza parking lot is Puritan Brewery, where there is a painted rainbow staircase.

Tiger Sasha is the artist who has done quite a few of my favorite NWA murals. One of my most favorites is on on the outside of The Academy at Frisco apartment building.

Nomads is a great, earthy brunch place in Fayetteville with about 5 different murals! This one is the brightest and largest, all across the back of the restaurant.

Mango’s Gourmet Taco Shop on MLK in Fayetteville just recently got this mask mural painted, and I just recently took a picture there!

The Maude wall! Classic! If you know about Northwest Arkansas you know about the Maude wall. My friends and I in high school were obsessed when it first was painted years ago. Solid colors all down the back of the boutique, it’s perfect. While you’re there, shop at Maude Boutique!
